Superb CCD (charge-coupled-device) derived color
The SmartLF SG Series wide format scanners are ideal photograph and art scanners because their CCD technology allows them to capture superb color images with exceptional shadow and highlight detail.
Scan documents up to 15 mm thick
If originals are mounted on poster board it’s no problem! The SG Series scanners allow documents of up to 15mm to be scanned. Thick document scanning with SmartLF is now even easier. Simply raise the SG thickness lever, insert thick document then lower again for effortless thick media scanning.
Accurate color matching
If you need to exactly match the colors in your original, we recommend that you use your SmartLF SG with SmartWorks Pro software.
SmartWorks Pro includes a user friendly Calibration Wizard with closed loop calibration. This allows you to produce ICC profiles of the scanner and your printer with any ink and media combination.
It also supports the x-rite i1 / Eye One spectrophotometer, a color management and measurement tool for professionally profiling wide format graphics and fine art inkjet printers. The spectrophotometer can be used to improve the accuracy of ICC printer profiles, providing exceptionally high quality color definition for graphics perfectionists!

Map & GIS Scans
All Colortrac SmartLF wide format scanners are ideal GIS and map scanners.
If you need to scan aerial or satellite photographs we especially recommend the SG Series wide format scanners. If you are scanning thicker maps or maps with board covers both of this range comes with thick media capability as standard up to 15mm.
